Meet Jordan & Whitney
Our family is threaded together by love, hope, redemption, and joy. Jordan and I met at college when he was in law school, and I was pursuing my undergraduate degree. When we began dating, we knew that this was our forever. After dating just seven months, we were engaged and married a year later. Having a large family was always a part of our plan, and adoption was a seed planted as a “some day” wish. After experiencing several years of undiagnosed infertility, the Lord watered that seed planted in faith as a “right now” reality. In May of 2015, we became parents through the gift of adoption and experienced the greatest love we have ever known when we met our Kennedy.
My husband, Jordan, is an attorney in the metro Atlanta area where he lives out his calling to serve people at their greatest point of need. He owns his own practice and has been practicing law since 2010. His passions include date nights, play time with Kennedy, fly fishing, hunting, reading, and the arts. I work as a training manager at the Chick-fil-A corporate office where I get to do fun work while being a very present mom. My job affords me the fantastic benefit to bring my children to work with a quality child care facility on site. In my free time, I enjoy decorating, spending time with friends, running, reading, and writing.
As a family, we love to travel, play at the park, cook, bake, spend time with friends, attend church events, and love on our very big family. Between both sides of the family, there are 14 children under the age of 14 and 3 of them joined us through the gift of adoption. Each year, we take a “just our little family” vacation and a “big family” vacation.
We are so excited to be back on the journey of adopting another child, and we can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for our family!
