Meet Cameron & Alexa
We are so grateful you are taking time to read about our story. We hope we can do our best to show the excitement, joy, emotion, and gratitude that has brought us to this point. We are Cameron and Alexa, a couple who has felt called to pursue embryo adoption.
Cameron’s family has been blessed by the beauty of adoption, as both of Cameron’s sisters are adopted. After I (Alexa) was diagnosed with an ovarian illness in high school that caused infertility, we knew that God had prepared us both for the gift of adoption. We believe God had a plan for us by allowing Alexa to keep the ability to carry a child, although there may not be a genetic link.
I (Alexa) am originally from California, and Cameron is originally from North Carolina, but college was what brought us together from different sides of the US. We met in college as tour guides, showing future students around our campus. We knew very early on in our relationship that we were meant for one another, due to our mutual passions of entrepreneurship, travel, and being in nature. One year after we graduated, we were married in a special garden wedding surrounded by our family and friends.
We then moved to Tennessee to start a business together, which means we get to work together every day, having a flexible work schedule and both working from home. We own and publish a magazine, and we are so thankful for this exciting career together.
Cameron is passionate about cooking incredible meals and trying unique cuisine, running, and watching his favorite NFL and NASCAR teams. I love road trips, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Our biggest mutual passion is travel and culture! We love seeing what our country and the world have to offer. We have been lucky to visit 10 states and 12 European countries since we have been married. We belong to a wonderful church near our home that pours love and support into our lives each week, too.
We cannot wait to welcome a sweet child through embryo adoption into our family. Our sweet pups, Max and Murphy, have told us they are thrilled too! :)
We are excited to begin this journey, and cannot wait to see what The Lord has planned for us. Thank you for your sacrificial gift of life!
